HOW CAN JASON HELP YOU WITH YOUR DIGESTIVE ISSUES?
Jason believes the body is one functional unit. As stated previously, everything has the capacity to affect everything in the body, therefore, structures like joints, muscles and ligaments are linked to the viscera. Meaning if the health and mobility of one is affected it can impact the other.
Jason associates motion to health. If motion is affected the physiological performance of the viscera or the tissues surrounding it may be affected. Generally speaking, healthy viscera display mobility and motility. Mobility meaning can it move freely relative to surrounding muscle or other viscera and does the viscera move effectively with global body movements like walking, running and breathing. Motility is an inherent motion of the organ and is a memory of the spiraling movements that occur during embryological development.
Jason uses Visceral manipulation (Click Here: link to Visceral Manipulation) and Osteopathic Manipulation (Click Here) to help restore the mobility and motility of the viscera and surrounding tissues to aid health both regionally and globally in the body.
Keep in mind Jason’s has a Holistic Approach to Healthcare. Every person’s symptom and issue although similar may result in different treatment approaches. This is true for DIGESITVE symptoms and in that not all issues stem from the same root cause.
However, there are common areas Jason considers when working with digestive issues:
Diaphragm and breathing mechanics
Tension in the tissue surrounding individual digestive viscera (organs)
The nervous system and individual nerves like the vagus nerve
The mobility of the spine like the vertebra and ribs.
COMMOM RESULTS WHEN WORKING WITH JASON FOR DIGESTIVE ISSUES:
IMPROVED ENERGY.
When nighttime reflux improves so can the QUALITY of SLEEP. Better sleep can improve energy levels.
BETTER GUT HEALTH
improved mobility and motility can lead to improvements of constipation symptoms creating a more beneficial environment for a healthier gut The healthier the gut the better the health: decreased inflammation, improved local, regional and global physiology.
IMPROVEMENT IN MOOD/OUTLOOK
Less Heartburn (intensity or frequency) can equate to less mental strain.
For example, if you or anyone you have known has had a long standing back injury one may be able to appreciate the mental consumption and impact this has on the being as a whole. For some people reflux and heartburn can be similar to that long standing back injury. It consumes the person. Now imagine if the intensity and frequency of digestive symptoms are minimized. Close your eyes and picture how that looks and feels.
IMPROVED QUALITY OF LIFE
A QOL can look different for everyone. If ones energy improves, mood or health improves then QOL is forced to change.
